Varsity vs Lowell High School (30 - 54) Loss The Michigan City girls wrestling hosted the Lowell Red Devils in a competitive battle. Though the overall team score represents a loss, all of our girls wrestled hard. The girls finished with 5 varsity wins out of 6 that contested. Continuing in their winning ways from last year, Senior Paris Stupar and Junior Mya Major stepped up and showed us how to take care of business, pinning both of their opponents with stunning headlocks. Stepping onto the mat for the first time tonight, sophomores Damani Edgington and Zareiah Turner came out aggressive and pinned both of their opponents. Suffering losses in hard fought battles tonight were junior Arianna Latourette and sophomore Emma Nelson. The girls will travel to the Alexandria Monroe Women's Tiger Invite on Saturday 11/8.
