Varsity vs Portage High School (31 - 133) Loss The Michigan City High School Boys Swimming and Diving team were defeated by Portage on December 16th, 2025. The boys were unable to put together a relay team during this meet, but they excelled in the individual events. The highlight of the night for the boys was Michael Hoppe who placed 1st place in diving with a score of 190.25. Hoppe was also able to take 3rd place in the 50 yard freestyle. Michael is proving that he is able to score points in both Diving as well as swimming. The Swindell Brothers were also able to pull out solid times in their events. Jaren Swindell took home 1st place in the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 54.79. He also tried out the 200 Freestyle and was able to take 2nd place with a time of 2:04.30. Jayce Swindell took 2nd place in both the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard backstroke. The next swim meet will be a home meet on Thursday December 18th at 5:30.
