Varsity vs Portage High School (50 - 110) Loss The Michigan City High School Girls Swimming and Diving lost Tuesday Night to Portage. The Girls highlight oh the night was the 400 yard Freestyle relay. The girls took 1st place with a time of 5:00.59. The relay team consisted of Audrey Hardacker, Emmaleigh Kempf, Olivia Swistek, and Maddy Parry. Senior Emmaleigh Kempf was able to secure a first place finish in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 1:15.32 as well as a second place finish in the 200 I.M. with a time of 2:39.74 Batoul Achy took 2nd place in the 200 yard Freestyle with a time of 3:03.75 and 3rd place in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:34.94. Audrey Hardacker took home 2nd place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:13.83 Senior Maddy Parry took 3rd place in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 6:57.49 and also took 2nd place in the 100 yard breaststroker with a time of 1:30.36. Diver Isabella Serrano took 2nd place in diving with a total score of 95.80. The Boys and Girls next meet is home against Crown Point on Thursday December 18th at 5:30.
