Varsity vs Portage High School Loss The Michigan City Boys Volleyball team traveled to Portage High School tonight dropping to 1-2 on the season. Portage out-scored the Wolves by scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-17. Standout players include setter, Collin Creech, and outside hitter, Emmanuel Sanchez. Both players led the team being the most consistent in their respective positions. Sanchez led his team with digs (15), providing numerous opportunities for our offense to hit the ground running. Joshua Vaughn led the team in hitting attempts (27). Tonight, Diondray Wilson got his first solo block and his first kill this evening against Portage!! Being a first year volleyball player as a senior, he has grown fast this season. MCHS Boys Volleyball will host Washington Township on Saturday, March 28th at 11am.
