Michigan City Varsity Wolves Fall to New Prairie The Michigan City Varsity Wolves were defeated by New Prairie, 10-0, on Wednesday. New Prairie took an early lead in the first inning and continued to add on in the second and third. The Wolves worked to settle in throughout the game, but were unable to generate offensive momentum against a strong outing on the mound. Derrek Fowler started for the Wolves, going three innings while competing through early pressure. Defensively, the Wolves turned a double play and continued to work through multiple situations against an aggressive opponent. New Prairie capitalized on scoring opportunities and applied pressure on the bases, while also playing a clean defensive game.
