Boys Volleyball vs Lake Central High School results in another loss. Even though sports fans read about the scores and look at the stats, the numbers never explain the fight that comes from the boys on the court. MCHS boys volleyball traveled to Lake Central High School on Monday, April 6th. The undefeated Indians are a state-caliber team. Currently ranked at 223rd in the nation, they gave the Wolves a match that helped set the tone for the Wolves new baseline. The Wolves had a lot of great moments. Anthony Hood and Emmanuel Sanchez both had outstanding performances. Stepping up as captains, they took the brunt of the serves in serve-receive and attacks on the net. Against a very fast offense, Hood and Sanchez were able to get to their "X's" on defense. They saw the game exceptionally well and thrived under pressure. They allowed for the offense to get swings off during pressurized circumstances quite a bit. The team was able to put things together against Lake Central more than the scores lead to believe. The Wolves next match is on Wednesday, April 8th against Morgan Twp at 5pm. See you in the Wolves Den!
