The Michigan City Varsity Wolves were defeated by Portage, 27-1, in Wednesday’s Duneland Conference matchup. Portage established control early and continued to add on throughout the game. The Wolves continued to compete and work through innings on both sides of the ball. On the mound, Brennan Cosich recorded four strikeouts over two innings of work. The Wolves will look to regroup as they prepare for the next matchup against Portage on Thursday.
