The MCHS girls track team participated in a meet at Merrillville high school. Not a good scoring meet but a number of runners ran their personal best. Angela Lewis in the 800 with the time of 3:00. Isabella Serrano in the 800 with the time of 3:16. Jamarah Jackson in the 800 with the time of 2:59. Kristina Sydoruk scored her 1st points in a varsity meet in the 800 with the time of 2:48 for a 3rd place finish and a 3rd place finish in the 1600 with the time of 6:09. Mia Brown in the 1600 with the time of 6:54. Veronica Barnes in two events 1600 with the time of 6:56 and in the 3200 with the time of 15:10. Lucy Murphy received her 1st points in 300 hurdles with a 3rd place finish with the time of 55.14. Throwers Paris Stupar and Ja’Meriah Wilkins had personal best in shot put with throws of 17’04” and 19’06”. Sania Lewis Timberlake threw her personal best in discus with a throw of 43’. JaeLynn tied her personal best with a jump of 13’05” in the long jump. The Wolves next compete at the Lancer Relays at LaVille High School Friday May 1st.
