On Thursday, May 7, 2026, Michigan City Unified Track traveled to LaPorte to compete against LaPorte and Valparaiso in our last regular meet of the season. Danielle Williams did a great job at long jump: over 6 feet! Antwone Wright competed in shot put for the first time this season and rocked it! Gavin Myres scored over 15 feet in shot put, a PR! Kylee Hines did a great job in the 100m and was able to navigate the lines and avoid runners who did not. Jamie Mark helped lead the team in warmups prior to throwing. Our team manager, Willie Ford, ensured our team was at the correct events and cheered them on as they competed! A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Three Sheets Bar & Grill for providing delicious sub sandwiches for our team meal! Thank you!!! Our next meet is the annual DAC. This year, due to construction, LaPorte has generously agreed to host! We look forward to competing in the Conference on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 4:30pm. GO WOLVES!!!
