Michigan City Boys Tennis Hits the Courts at Hobart The Wolves hit the road today to Hobart High School for a preseason scrimmage, and it was a great chance to shake off the summer rust and get into match mode. Our players brought energy, focus, and support for one another this afternoon. Juniors Thomas Chatfield and Nic Williams came back this preseason with their impressive doubles performance and sharp net play. Senior and co-captain Riley Emshwiller-Sowards made a preseason debut at the #1 singles spot after moving up from #2 last season, getting a little taste of top-court competition and handling it with grit and determination. Across the board, it was encouraging to see improvement and teamwork building with every point played. This scrimmage was the perfect warm-up before our first official match of the season this Monday against South Bend St. Joe. We’re ready to carry this momentum forward! Go Wolves! 🐺
