The Varsity Boys football team competed against the Cougars of New Prairie High School in a county showdown Friday night for a week 0 scrimmage. The Wolves looked solid on both sides of the ball with a multitude of players getting involved in the offensive scoring including touchdowns from Dre Collier, DQ Fields, Zaire McKinney, Trin Hart, Jeremy Thurman, and Cameron Duke. Defensively the Wolves remained solid against a strong Cougar rushing attack. Standout players from the defensive side of the ball included Zay Gipson, Deavante Fields, Dezmon Howard, and Ethan Buskirk. This a fun and competitive scrimmage in which many JV and Freshmen players also saw action. Kody Gallaher added an interception on defense and Freshmen WR Lennon Blank stood out offensively.
