The Michigan City High School Girls Cross Country team competed in the Hobart Invitational on Tuesday, September 2nd. This race provided the rare opportunity to run a two mile race. Junior Lucy Murphy led the Wolves with a top 20 finish earning a medal. The number two runner for the Wolves was Veronica Barnes earning a PR at the shorter distance. Rounding out the rest of the team scorers was Freshmen Lila Brown, Sophomore Angela Lewis, and Senior Mia Palomo. The Wolves placed fourth as a team overall. The Wolves will next compete at the Cougar Kickoff at New Prairie High School on September 9th.
