The Michigan City Varsity Soccer Team traveled to Portage High School for a DAC game. Portage jumped out first taking an early lead 1-0 off a corner kick. With 8 minutes left in the first half, Charlie Barnes played in a free kick with multiple players almost scoring off of it. The wolves entered halftime down 1-0 with some work to do in the second half. The boys battled but it was not enough to stop Portage. The final score ending 3-0 with a wolves loss. Charlie Barnes had 2 shots on goal, Alvaro Serrano with 1 shot on goal, David Sepulveda with 1 shot on goal, and Leo Villegas with 1 shot on goal. Gerardo Patino with 12 saves for the wolves. The next Varsity game will be on Saturday (9/20) @ Marquette starting at 10:00am.
